Dan McGillis (full name: Dan McGillis; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1997 until 2006 for the Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, San Jose Sharks, Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils. He played for the Oilers from 1997 - 1998, Flyers from 1998 - 2003, Sharks in 2003, Bruins from 2003 - 2004 and Devils in 2006. Over 9 seasons, he played 634 games, scored 56 goals, and made 182 assists. Born in Hawkesbury, Ontario on July 1, 1972, McGillis stands 6-3 and weighs 220 lbs. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 10th round (238th overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
