Dan Hinote (full name: Dan Hinote; no nicknames) played right wing from 2000 until 2009 for the Colorado Avalanche and St. Louis Blues. He played for the Avalanche from 2000 - 2006 and Blues from 2007 - 2009. Over 9 seasons, he played 503 games, scored 38 goals, and made 52 assists. Born in Leesburg, Florida on January 30, 1977, Hinote stands 6-0 and weighs 187 lbs. He was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the 7th round (167th overall) of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Hinote officially announced retirement on July 2, 2010.
