Dan Fritsche (full name: Dan Fritsche; no nicknames) played center from 2004 until 2009 for the Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers and Minnesota Wild. He played for the Blue Jackets from 2004 - 2008, Rangers in 2009 and Wild in 2009. Over 5 seasons, he played 256 games, scored 34 goals, and made 42 assists. Born in Parma, Ohio on July 13, 1985, Fritsche stands 6-1 and weighs 204 lbs. He was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2nd round (46th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
