Dale Hawerchuk (full name: Dale Hawerchuk; no nicknames) played center from 1982 until 1997 for the Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues and Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the Jets from 1982 - 1990, Sabres from 1991 - 1995, Blues in 1996 and Flyers from 1996 - 1997. Over 16 seasons, he played 1188 games, scored 518 goals, and made 891 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on April 4, 1963, Hawerchuk stands 5-11 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1st round (1st overall) of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. He was inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame as Player in 2001.
