Donald Albert “D. A.” Weibring is an American professional golf player. He hails from Quincy, Illinois and took his college education at the Illinois State University and graduated in 1975 with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration and turned professional later that year. Weibring was listed at 6 ft. 1 in. and 200 lbs. Throughout his entire professional career, Weibring had won five PGA Tour events; the Ed McMahon-Jaycees Quad Cities Open against Calvin Peete, Beatrice Western Open against Larry Nelson and Greg Norman, Hardee's Golf Classic against Paul Azinger and Peter Jacobsen, Quad City Classic against Jonathan Kaye and the Canon Greater Hartford Open against Tom Kite.
His first was in 1979 at Quad Cities, which is an event where Weibring won three times. His last Tour victory was in 1996 at the Canon Greater Hartford Open. Weibring have had top ten finishes for five times in major championships, with two of them coming from the PGA Championship. In May 2003, Weibring joined the Champions Tour and had won five times. In his twenty five appearances in 2004 at the Champions Tour, Weibring led the Tour having fifteen top ten finishes which include a win at the Allianz Championship. In 2001, Weibring was inducted into the Illinois PGA Hall of Fame.
