Cy Perkins (full name: Ralph Foster Perkins; no nicknames) played catcher from 1931 until 1934 for the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers. He played for the Yankees in 1931 and Tigers in 1934. Over 17 seasons, he played 1171 games, hit 30 home runs, drove in 329 runs, and stole 18 bases. Born on February 27, 1896 in Gloucester, MA (All Transactions), Perkins stood 5' 10" and weighed 158 lb. He attended high school.
