Renowned for being an outfielder, Curt Ford is a retired Major League Baseball player who became active from 1985 to 1990. During his rather short stay in the MLB, he has played for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Phillies. Aside from playing in the Major Leagues, Ford also had a short stint in the Prairie Baseball League in 1996 after he was picked up by the Saskatoon Smokin’ Guns.
By the end of his Major League Baseball career, Ford was able to make seven home runs, 89 RBIs and was able to post a batting average of .245.
During the 1987 World Series when the St. Louis Cardinals were able to face the Minnesota Twins, Ford was able to post a batting average of .308. Ford decided to retire after the 1990 MLB season.
Ford is currently serving as a manager for the Springfield Sliders of the Prospect League and plays in the Lanphier Park of Springfield, Illinois.

Born on October 11, 1960 in Jackson, MS, Ford stands 5' 10" and weighs 150 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 4th round of the 1981 amateur draft.
