Distinguished as a retired defensive lineman of the National Football League (NFL), Coy Bacon has been originally drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1968, where he’s played with the Fearsome Four, consisting of Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen, Roger Brown and Lamar Lundry. He’s remarkably shown prowess in his 14-year career as he was chosen thrice to participate the Pro Bowl games. In addition, Bacon has been a three-time Second-team All-Pro selection. Other teams he’s served are the San Diego Chargers, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Washington Redskins and the Washington Federals of the USFL.    

 

The Redskins, Bacon’s former club, is partly driven by Rex Grossman, the 2006 Ed Block Courage awardee, Lee Vickers, who’s recorded two receptions through Week 17 of 2009, Donovan McNabb, the 2004 AFC Offensive Player of the Year and a few others.
