Cory Fleming is a retired professional football player who played for the Dallas Cowboys in the 1994 and 1995 seasons. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on March 19, 1971. Before pursuing a career in professional football, he attended the Tennessee University. He played as linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys. He went professional after he was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers during the 1994 NFL Draft during the third round.
Fleming would only play in 18 games, and make 6 receptions and 83 receiving yards. He was with the Dallas Cowboys when the team went on to win the Super Bowl XXX. Fleming wore the number 82 while playing in the NFL.
He decided to retire from playing professionally after the 1995 season. He has since founded the Cory Fleming Scholarship fund which is dedicated to helping out kids who have been granted football scholarships in colleges and universities financially.
