About Colin White Memorabilia & Collectibles
Colin White is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who hails from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. White is currently lined up as defenceman in the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League. He began his pro hockey career after he was drafted by the New Jersey Devils during the 1996 NHL Draft where he was a second round pick of the team.
Ever since the draft, White had been a familiar face of the New Jersey Devils since he helped the Devils win the 2000 Stanley Cup and another one in 2003. White suffered a serious eye injury during the 2007–08 pre-season. White was able to come back to the lineup on November 21 to play in the Devils' victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Even though White was still suffering from some blurred vision in his right eye that time, he was able to play over seventeen minutes, blocked two shots, and was even credited with six of the Devils' fifteen hits. During the 2008-09 season White played a total of seventy one games and finishing the season with one goal and seventeen assists. When White returned to his regular line-up, he began to wear a protective visor on his helmet.
