Clint Malarchuk (full name: Clint Malarchuk; no nicknames) played goalie from 1982 until 1992 for the Quebec Nordiques, Washington Capitals and Buffalo Sabres. He played for the Nordiques from 1982 - 1987, Capitals from 1988 - 1989 and Sabres from 1989 - 1992. Over 10 seasons, he played 338 games, scored 0 goals, and made 14 assists. Born in Grande Prairie, Alberta on May 1, 1961, Malarchuk stands 6-0 and weighs 185 lbs. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 4th round (74th overall) of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. Malarchuk officially announced retirement on March 5, 1996.
