Clifford Ray (full name: Clifford Ray; Cliff) played Center from 1972 until 1981 for the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors. Over 10 seasons, he played 784 games, scored 5821 points (7.4 ppg) and grabbed 6953 rebounds (8.9 rpg). Ray also dished out 1728 assists (2.2 apg), made 501 steals (0.6 spg), and blocked 638 shots (0.8 bpg) during his career. Born in Union, South Carolina on January 21, 1949, Ray stands 6-9 and weighs 230 lbs. He attended high school at Sims in Union, South Carolina and college at University of Oklahoma. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 3rd round (5th pick, 40th overall) of the 1971 NBA draft.
