About Cliff Ronning Memorabilia & Collectibles

Clifford John Ronning formerly played professional ice hockey in the National Hockey League. Before he got drafted, he played for the New Westminster Bruins of the Western Hockey League. In 1984, he won the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy for his stellar performance as a player.

Ronning was drafted as the 134th overall pick in the 7th round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues but did not play immediately for the team. He returned to the New Westminster and won the Most Valuable Player Award in the WHL and the Bob Clark Trophy. He then played for the Canadian National Team and made his NHL debut with the Blues in the 1986 Stanley Cup. In the season of 1990- 1991, he was traded to the Vancouver Canucks and in a game against the Los Angeles Kings he made points that almost tied Brian Trottier’s record. He helped the Canucks reach the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals which they lost to the New York Rangers. Upon entering free agency, he signed with the Phoenix Coyotes and then with the Nashville Predators. He was then sent to the Los Angeles Kings then to the Minnesota Wild. He helped the Wild in terms of points, in their stint at the Western Conference Finals which they lost to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. In 2003, he signed with the New York Islanders and finally decided to retire on February 2006. Upon retirement, he coaches the Vancouver Selects and still plays ice hockey occasionally.

Relive Cliff Ronning’s action on ice and collect framed NHL photos, plaques, and collages, NHL trading cards and tickets, autographed NHL pucks, NHL photomints and coins, autographed game used items, NHL bobbleheads and figures, autographed NHL gloves, and other ice hockey memorabilia offered on this website.
