Claude Passeau (full name: Claude William Passeau; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1935 until 1947 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs. He played for the Pirates in 1935, Phillies from 1936 - 1939 and Cubs from 1939 - 1947. Over 13 seasons, he started 331 games, won 162 games, struck out 1104 batters, and had a 3.32 ERA. Born on April 9, 1909 in Waynesboro, MS, Passeau stood 6' 3" and weighed 198 lb. He attended Moss Point (Moss Point, MS) high school.
