About Claude Lemieux:
Claude Lemieux (full name: Claude Lemieux; no nicknames) played right wing from 1984 until 2009 for the Montreal Canadiens, New Jersey Devils, Colorado Avalanche, Phoenix Coyotes, Dallas Stars and San Jose Sharks. He played for the Canadies from 1984 - 1990, Devils from 1991 - 2000, Avalanche from 1996 - 2000, Coyotes from 2001 - 2003, Stars in 2003 and Sharks in 2009. Over 21 seasons, he played 1215 games, scored 379 goals, and made 407 assists. Born in Buckingham, Quebec on July 16, 1965, Lemieux stands 6-1 and weighs 215 lbs. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2nd round (26th overall) of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Lemieux officially announced retirement on July 8, 2009.
