About Claude Lapointe:
Claude Lapointe (full name: Claude Lapointe; no nicknames) played left wing/center from 1991 until 2004 for the Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, Calgary Flames, New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the Nordiques from 1991 - 1995, Avalanche in 1996, Flames in 1996, Islanders from 1997 - 2003 and Flyers from 2003 - 2004. Over 14 seasons, he played 879 games, scored 127 goals, and made 178 assists. Born in Lachine, Quebec on October 11, 1968, Lapointe stands 5-9 and weighs 188 lbs. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 12th round (234th overall) of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft.
