Chuck Klein (full name: Charles Herbert Klein; no nicknames) played rightfielder from 1932 until 1944 for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Blue Jays. He played for the Phillies from 1932 - 1942, Cubs from 1934 - 1936, Pirates in 1939 and Blue Jays from 1943 - 1944. Over 17 seasons, he played 1753 games, hit 300 home runs, drove in 1168 runs, and stole 79 bases. Born on October 7, 1904 in Indianapolis, IN, Klein stood 6' 0" and weighed 185 lb. He attended Southport (Indianapolis, IN) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on July 30, 1928 and he played his final game on June 11, 1944. Over his career, Klein made $119,289.
