Chuck Foreman is a former professional football player who played in the NFL from 1973 to 1980. When he was still playing, Foreman was a running back. While attending Frederick High School in Maryland, Foreman excelled in football, basketball and track. He decided to go to the University of Miami and played for the football varsity team as a defensive back, wide receiver and running back.
During the 1973 NFL Draft, Foreman was the 12th overall pick and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings. By the end of his freshman year, he was selected as the National Football Conference Rookie of the Year. By the end of that season, Foreman was able to make 801 rushing yards on 187 attempts and 37 caught passes for 362 yards.
In the 1974 season, Foreman was selected as the NFC Player of the Year for the Sporting News and in 1976 by the UPI. He made it to the All-Pro selection in four years—1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977. He also got to play in five Pro-Bowls from 1973 to 1977. He played in three Super Bowls with the Vikings. Foreman was inducted in the College Football of Fame in 2005.

Born in Frederick, MD on October 26, 1950, Foreman stands 6'2 and weighs 210 lbs. He attended college at Miami. He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 1st round (12th overall) of the 1973 NFL Draft.
