About Christian Laettner:
Christian Laettner (full name: Christian Donald Laettner; no nicknames) played Forward-Center from 1993 until 2005 for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards and Miami Heat. Over 13 seasons, he played 868 games, scored 11121 points (12.8 ppg) and grabbed 5806 rebounds (6.7 rpg). Laettner also dished out 2224 assists (2.6 apg), made 917 steals (1.1 spg), and blocked 675 shots (0.8 bpg) during his career. Born in Angola, New York on August 17, 1969, Laettner stands 6-11 and weighs 235 lbs. He attended high school at Nichols School in Buffalo, New York and college at Duke University. He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1st round (3rd pick, 3rd overall) of the 1992 NBA draft.
