Chris Zachary (full name: William Christopher Zachary; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1963 until 1973 for the Houston Colt .45s, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Colt .45s from 1963 - 1964, Astros from 1965 - 1967, Royals in 1969, Cardinals in 1971, Tigers in 1972 and Pirates in 1973. Over 9 seasons, he started 40 games, won 10 games, struck out 184 batters, and had a 4.57 ERA. Born on February 19, 1944 in Knoxville, TN, Zachary stood 6' 2" and weighed 200 lb.
