Christopher Antoine Whitney was a former American professional basketball player. Born on October 5, 1971, he came from Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He played as a point guard in the National Basketball League. From Clemson University, Whitney was selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the late 2nd round in the 1993 NBA Draft.
He spent 11 seasons with five different teams. First with the San Antonio Spurs in 1993-1995. After playing for the Spurs, from 1995-2002 he played for the Washington Bullets. He was traded to the Denver Nuggets in exchange with George McCloud in October 24, 2002. On February 26, 2003, Whitney was released by the Nuggets. He became a free-agent and eventually the Orlando Magic signed him on February 28, 2003.
After the Orlando Magic waived him, he played again with the Washington Wizards. Whitney finished his career averaging 6.5 points per game, 2.6 assist, and 1.4 rebounds in 579 games mostly with the Wizards. The NBA is now globally known from the United States to Europe, Asia to Africa, and South America to the Oceania.

Over 11 seasons, he played 579 games, scored 3738 points (6.5 ppg) and grabbed 815 rebounds (1.4 rpg). Whitney also dished out 1613 assists (2.8 apg), made 351 steals (0.6 spg), and blocked 32 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on October 5, 1971, Whitney stands 6-0 and weighs 168 lbs. He attended high school at Christian County in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and college at Clemson University. He was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2nd round (20th pick, 47th overall) of the 1993 NBA draft.
