Chris Warren is a former American professional football player. He was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and took his college education when he attended Ferrum College in Virginia. Throughout his eleven season pro career, Warren played as a running back for a few teams in the National Football League; the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. Warren was listed at 6 ft. 2 in. and 226 lbs. He began his professional career in the National Football League after he was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks during the 1990 NFL Draft where he was a fourth round pick of the team.

 

Initially seeing action as a kick returner, Warren's breakout season came in 1992 when he rushed for 1,017 yards. He followed that season with three more years with at least 1,000 yards rushing, setting a career-high in 1994 with 1,545 rushing yards. In 1995, Warren set another career-best with 15 rushing touchdowns.

 

Warren was a three-time Pro Bowl selection in three successive seasons, the 1993, 1994, and the 1995 seasons. By the end of his stint with the Seahawks, Warren held the team’s career rushing record, taking down 6,706 total rushing yards for the Seahawks from 1990 to 1997. In 2005 however, Shaun Alexander broke the record for the Seahawks.

Chris Warren (fullname: Christopher Collins Warren Jr.; no nicknames) played from 1990 until 2000 for the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. He played 162 games, starting 91 of those. Born in Silver Spring, MD on January 24, 1968, Warren stands 6'2 and weighs 228 lbs. He attended college at Ferrum, Virginia. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 4th round (89th overall) of the 1990 NFL Draft.
