Chris Simon (full name: Chris Simon; no nicknames) played left wing from 1993 until 2008 for the Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, Washington Capitals, Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers, Calgary Flames, New York Islanders and Minnesota Wild. He played for the Nordiques from 1993 - 1995, Avalanche in 1996, Capitals from 1997 - 2003, Blackhawks in 2003, Rangers in 2004, Flames from 2004 - 2006, Islanders from 2007 - 2008 and Wild in 2008. Over 15 seasons, he played 782 games, scored 144 goals, and made 161 assists. Born in Wawa, Ontario on January 30, 1972, Simon stands 6-3 and weighs 233 lbs. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2nd round (25th overall) of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
