Christopher Charles Rix, more popular known as Chris Rix, was born on May 1, 1981 and is a native of Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the Florida State University and where he first played for the National Collegiate Athletic Association as a football quarterback for the team, Florida State Seminoles. He was also the first and only rookie that was given the position as the quarterback on his school’s history. He suffered an ankle injury in the beginning of the season but that did not stop him from ranking second major categories at the FSU.
In the year 2005, Chris Rix was with the San Diego Chargers and in the same year, he began his career in sports broadcasting. At first, he became a high school football analyst for the network, Fox Sports Net in Los Angeles. Also in the same year, he became the college football commentator and analyst for the Fox Sports Radio. A year later, he signed a contract with the CSTV, a branch of CBS, to be a commentator and analyst as they cover college football games. In 2006, FOX sports hired him to be a courtside reporter for the game between the Texas Tech and Alabama for the 2006 Cotton Bowl Classic.
After he became a regular college football and analyst, he founded the Champion Training Company and the Champion Organization with the aim to train and unleash the potentials of young athletes. In the BCS National Championship Breakfast for the year 2010, he was the Master of Ceremonies and it was hosted by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes which Rix is also a staff.
