Chris Richard is a professional basketball player who hails from Lakeland Florida and was born on the Christmas Day of year 1984. He was a power forward in high school and also played the same position in University of Florida. He became an important part of the team and was part of their success in the national championship in the 2006-2007 seasons. In his last game as part of the Florida Gators, he logged eight points and 8 rebounds.

 

He is listed at 6 ft. 9 in. and weighs 255 lbs. He began his professional career with the Minnesota Timberwolves which drafted him in the National Basketball Association draft in the 2007 season. He was a second round pick of the team with which he spent one season. After his stint with the Timberwolves, he played for the Tulsa 66ers from the 2008 season to the 2010 season. He was drafted by the Tulsa 66ers in the first round of the D-League Draft in 2008.

 

His last team in the National Basketball Association was the Chicago Bulls which he signed in 2009. He had eighteen great seasons with the Bulls. He was released by the team on June 30, 2010. Currently, Richard is a free agent.

He played for the Cardinals in 2000, Orioles from 2000 - 2002, Rockies in 2003 and Rays in 2009. Over 5 seasons, he played 280 games, hit 34 home runs, drove in 132 runs, and stole 18 bases. Born on June 7, 1974 in San Diego, CA, Richard stands 6' 2" and weighs 210 lb. He attended University (San Diego, CA) high school and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 19th round of the 1995 amateur draft. His debut was on July 17, 2000.
