Chick Hafey (full name: Charles James Hafey; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1932 until 1937 for the Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Reds from 1932 - 1937. Over 13 seasons, he played 1283 games, hit 164 home runs, drove in 777 runs, and stole 70 bases. Born on February 12, 1903 in Berkeley, CA, Hafey stood 6' 0" and weighed 185 lb. He attended Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) high school. His debut was on August 28, 1924 and he played his final game on September 30, 1937. Common misspellings of his name include Charles Chick James Hafey.
