About Charlie Trippi:
Charlie Trippi (fullname: Charles Louis Trippi; no nicknames) played Quarterback from 1950 until 1955 for the Chicago Cardinals. He played 99 games, passed for 2547 yards and 16 touchdowns. Born in Pittston, PA on December 14, 1922, Trippi stands 6'0 and weighs 186 lbs. He attended college at Georgia. He was drafted by the Chicago Cardinals in the 1st round (1st overall) of the 1945 NFL Draft. Trippi was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1968.
