A current member of the New York Yankees, Chan Ho Park is a Korean professional baseball player. He began exercising his pitching skills in Kongju High School where he was named as the Most Valuable Player for three seasons. He likewise represented his country as part of the National Baseball Team of South Korea and became a significant player in the 1993 Asian Baseball Championship, where the country finished with a silver medal. He continued to play baseball in college for the Hanyang University. He immediately joined the Major League Baseball after his college career and signed a deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He made his first Major League Baseball appearance on April 8, 1994 for the Dodgers. He stayed with the team until 2001 and then moved to play for the Texas Rangers from 2002 to 2005.
