Chad Steven Henne is a National Football League player who was born on July 2, 1985 in Pennsylvania. Before playing in the national league, he spent his high school and college years playing as a quarterback for Wilson Senior High School in West Lawn and in University of Michigan in college. His first year as a starting quarterback for the University of Michigan Wolverines was marked by the team’s victory over the Michigan State and a noteworthy performance in the Rose Bowl. In his second year, he was noticed for not performing well but made it up in his junior year when he made 203 passes for 2, 508 yards and hit 22 touchdowns. The Wolverine had an 11-0 record at the start of that season. He had an injury during his senior year and appeared in his last game in college in the 2008 Capital One Bowl.
He started playing pro in 2008 when he joined the Miami Dolphins who picked him in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft and became the fourth quarterback who was picked in the draft. He played his very first NFL game on September 14, 2008 against the Arizona Cardinals where he recorded a passer rate of 74.0 and had one touchdown. As of 2009, he has a career record of 12-14 passing yards and a QB rating of 75.2.
