Cecil Fielder is a former Major League Baseball player who became famous for his batting power. He started playing professionally when he was after he was picked by the Baltimore Orioles during the 1981 amateur draft. He didn’t stay long with the Orioles. Fielder became a third baseman for the Blue Jays. He was able to hit 31 homeruns and 84 runs batted in the four seasons that he stayed with the Jays. He signed with the Hanshin Tigers in 1988. He was able to make 38 homeruns during the 1989 season when he played for the Central League.

Fielder signed with the Detroit Tigers on 1990.He was traded to the New York Yankees in 1994. He became instrumental for the Yankees win in the 1996 World Series championships.
