Cass Michaels (full name: Casimir Eugene Michaels; no nicknames) played second baseman, shortstop and third baseman from 1943 until 1954 for the Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns and Philadelphia Athletics. He played for the White Sox from 1943 - 1954, Senators from 1950 - 1952, Browns in 1952 and Athletics from 1952 - 1953. Over 12 seasons, he played 1288 games, hit 53 home runs, drove in 508 runs, and stole 64 bases. Born on March 4, 1926 in Detroit, MI, Michaels stood 5' 11" and weighed 175 lb. He attended Hamtramck (Hamtramck, MI) high school. His debut was on August 19, 1943 and he played his final game on August 27, 1954.
