He played for the Angels from 1978 - 1980, Red Sox from 1981 - 1982 and Athletics from 1983 - 1992. Over 15 seasons, he played 1862 games, hit 151 home runs, drove in 1007 runs, and stole 224 bases. Born on February 7, 1957 in San Jose, CA, Lansford stands 6' 2" and weighs 195 lb. He attended Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) high school and was drafted by the California Angels in the 3rd round of the 1975 amateur draft.
