Rogers was the ninth overall pick of the Redskins in the 2005 NFL Draft. Before starting his career in the NFL, Rogers first played college football for Auburn University. Rogers was named Freshman All-American, and he was ranked number 2 in the Southeastern Conference for having a career record of 44 pass deflections. Finishing his college career with a strong record of tackles, interceptions, and fumble recoveries, Rogers was named part of the All-Decade Team for the 2000’s.
Though he has had injury problems in his NFL career, Rogers has proven his worth to the Washington Redskins. He played all 16 regular games for the 2008 and 2009 seasons, each with impressive statistics in tackles, pass deflections, and fumble recoveries.

Carlos Rogers (full name: Carlos Deon Rogers; Bonz) played Center-Forward from 1995 until 2002 for the Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors, Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers. Over 8 seasons, he played 298 games, scored 2196 points (7.4 ppg) and grabbed 1272 rebounds (4.3 rpg). Rogers also dished out 182 assists (0.6 apg), made 128 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 235 shots (0.8 bpg) during his career. Born in Detroit, Michigan on February 6, 1971, Rogers stands 6-11 and weighs 220 lbs. He attended high school at Northwestern in Detroit, Michigan and college at Tennessee State University. He was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 1st round (11th pick, 11th overall) of the 1994 NBA draft.
