Carl Warwick is a former American professional baseball player. He was born on February 27, 1937 in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Sunset High School located in Dallas. He took his college education when he attended the Texas Christian University. Warwick played as outfielder for numerous teams in the Major League Baseball; the Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, then Houston Colt .45s, Baltimore Orioles and the Chicago Cubs.
Warwick stands 5 ft. 10 in and weighs 170 lbs. He batted with his right and threw with his left. He began his professional baseball career after he was signed as amateur free agent by the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1957. Warwick made his pro debut with the Dodgers on April 11, 1961. And a month after his debut, on May 30, 1961, Warwick, along with Bob Lillis, was traded by the Dodgers for Daryl Spencer of the St. Louis Cardinals.
During his stint with the Cardinals, Warwick appeared in the 1964 World Series. Warwick played for a brief season with the Cardinals until he was traded for Bobby Shantz of the Houston Colt .45's on May 7, 1962 and played for two years with the team. On February 1964 Warwick was traded back to the Cardinals before he was purchased by the Baltimore Orioles on July 1965. March 30, 1966 Warwick was then traded to the Chicago Cubs where he had his final game on June 12, 1966.
