Carl Fischer (full name: Charles William Fischer; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1931 until 1937 for the Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians. He played for the Senators from 1931 - 1937, Browns in 1932, Tigers from 1933 - 1935, White Sox in 1935 and Indians in 1937. Over 7 seasons, he started 105 games, won 46 games, struck out 376 batters, and had a 4.63 ERA. Born on November 5, 1905 in Medina, NY, Fischer stood 6' 0" and weighed 180 lb. He attended Medina (Medina, NY) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on July 19, 1930 and he played his final game on July 2, 1937.
