About Cadillac Williams Memorabilia & Collectibles
Carnell Lamar Williams, or simply Cadillac Williams, is presently a running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He is from Gadsden, Alabama and spent his college football career playing for the Auburn University Tigers.
While at Auburn, Williams played a key role in many games such as the one against the University of Arkansas where he showcased his stellar playing talent and versatility. He also led the Tigers against the University of Georgia in a win on the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry game. Unluckily, he was injured in a game against the University of Alabama and had to retire for the rest of the season. For the following years, Williams displayed remarkable talent despite inevitable injuries. He was even a part of the Tigers team that won the 2004 SEC Championship game against the Tennessee Volunteers.
Williams was then selected as the 5th pick in the 1st round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his rookie year, he was awarded with the Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. In 2006, he was still suffering from injuries and by 2007, in a game against Carolina, injured his right knee. The following year was also marred with injuries and in 2009, in a game against the Buffalo Bills, got his 1st receiving touchdown. To date, Williams has 3,240 receiving yards, 3.8 rushing average, and 18 rushing touchdowns.
