Buzz Capra (full name: Lee William Capra; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1971 until 1977 for the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. He played for the Mets from 1971 - 1973 and Braves from 1974 - 1977. Over 7 seasons, he started 61 games, won 31 games, struck out 362 batters, and had a 3.87 ERA. Born on October 1, 1947 in Chicago, IL, Capra stands 5' 10" and weighs 168 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the New York Mets in the 27th round of the 1969 amateur draft. His debut was on September 15, 1971 and he played his final game on September 26, 1977. Common misspellings of his name include Lee Buzz William Capra.
