About Bulldog Turner:
Bulldog Turner (fullname: Clyde Douglas Turner; no nicknames) played Linebacker from 1950 until 1952 for the Chicago Bears. He played 138 games, intercepted 17 passes and recovered 5 fumbles. Born in Plains, TX on March 10, 1919, Turner stands 6'1 and weighs 237 lbs. He attended college at Hardin-Simmons. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 1st round (7th overall) of the 1940 NFL Draft. Turner was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1966.
