Buddy Dial (fullname: Gilbert Leroy Dial; no nicknames) played from 1959 until 1966 for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys. He played 98 games, starting 10 of those. Born in Ponca City, OK on January 17, 1937, Dial stands 6'1 and weighs 194 lbs. He attended college at Rice. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the 2nd round (22nd overall) of the 1959 NFL Draft.
