Bud Souchock (full name: Stephen Souchock; Bud) played outfielder, first baseman and third baseman from 1946 until 1955 for the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers. He played for the Yankees from 1946 - 1948, White Sox in 1949 and Tigers from 1951 - 1955. Over 8 seasons, he played 473 games, hit 50 home runs, drove in 163 runs, and stole 15 bases. Born on March 3, 1919 in Yatesboro, PA, Souchock stood 6' 2" and weighed 203 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on May 25, 1946 and he played his final game on April 15, 1955.
