Bud Hafey (full name: Daniel Albert Hafey; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1935 until 1939 for the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the White Sox in 1935, Pirates from 1935 - 1936, Phillies in 1939 and Reds in 1939. Over 3 seasons, he played 123 games, hit 10 home runs, drove in 53 runs, and stole 2 bases. Born on August 6, 1912 in Berkeley, CA, Hafey stood 6' 0" and weighed 185 lb. He attended Oakland Technical (Oakland, CA) (All Transactions) high school.
