Buck Ross (full name: Lee Ravon Ross; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1936 until 1945 for the Philadelphia Athletics and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Athletics from 1936 - 1941 and White Sox from 1941 - 1945. Over 10 seasons, he started 182 games, won 56 games, struck out 360 batters, and had a 4.94 ERA. Born on February 3, 1915 in Norwood, NC (All Transactions), Ross stood 6' 2" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school.
