About Bryant Reeves Memorabilia & Collectibles

Bryant Reeves is a former professional basketball player who appeared in the National Basketball Association. He spent his childhood years in Gans, Oklahoma and is listed at 7 ft. and 275 lbs. He had his college basketball experience at Oklahoma State University where he became a popular player. In his entire college career, he logged 21.5 PPG average and has made significant contributions for the team’s inclusion to the Final Four of the 1995 season. He joined the National Basketball Association draft in 1995 and was chosen as a first-round pick of the Vancouver Grizzlies.

Nicknamed as the Big Country, he spent six seasons with the Vancouver Grizzlies and logged 13.3 PPG in his first year in the league. In 1997, he made 16.2 PPG average and was given a contract extension for his awesome performance. According to many sources, he had best season in 1997-1998 when he made 16.3 PPG and made 7.9 RPG. He logged his career-best points in a game opposed Boston Celtics in which he recorded 41 points. However, after that season, he had a few injuries and a continuous increase in weight. He was placed in injured reserve and unfortunately had to retire in the 2001-2002 season.

Bryant Reeves (full name: Bryant Reeves; Big Country) played Center from 1996 until 2001 for the Vancouver Grizzlies. Over 6 seasons, he played 395 games, scored 4945 points (12.5 ppg) and grabbed 2745 rebounds (6.9 rpg). Reeves also dished out 623 assists (1.6 apg), made 200 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 302 shots (0.8 bpg) during his career. Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on June 8, 1973, Reeves stands 7-0 and weighs 275 lbs. He attended high school at Gans in Gans, Oklahoma and college at Oklahoma State University. He was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies in the 1st round (6th pick, 6th overall) of the 1995 NBA draft.
