Born in Pelahatchie, MS on October 23, 1914, Kinard stands 6'1 and weighs 216 lbs. He attended college at Mississippi. He was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 3rd round (18th overall) of the 1938 NFL Draft. Kinard was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971, finalist in 1970.
