Brian Robiskie currently plays in the National Football League for the Cleveland Browns as an American wide receiver. Born on December 3, 1987, Robiskie was a 36th pick in the 2nd round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Even though he was born in Los Angeles, CA., he was raised primarily in Cleveland, Ohio, where his father, Terry Robiskie, was once an Assistant Coach for the Browns. Robiskie played college football at Ohio State from 2005 to 2008 before deciding to join the NFL.
Robiskie’s college performance was stellar, making him as the “most sure thing in the ‘2009’ draft” said ESPN analyst Michael Smith. He began his freshman year with notable statistics, appearing in all 12 games of the season, with most of his playing time on special teams. In Robiskie’s sophomore year, he continued to show impressive signs by playing in all 13 season games, where he started in 5 of those. He sustained a 3.50 grade-point average in school during his junior year, Robiskie was still able to lead his team in receptions against many of the teams they played against. He was awarded Offensive Player of the Week, the Paul Warfield award for Outstanding Receiver, and Big Ten All-Academic. Though his statistics in Robiskie’s senior year were not as superior as his previous year with the team, sources say he would still be an excellent pick in the Draft.
