Brian Meadows (full name: Matthew Brian Meadows; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1998 until 2006 for the Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He played for the Marlins from 1998 - 1999, Padres in 2000, Royals from 2000 - 2001, Pirates from 2002 - 2005 and Devil Rays in 2006. Over 9 seasons, he started 122 games, won 47 games, struck out 454 batters, and had a 5.05 ERA. Born on November 21, 1975 in Montgomery, AL, Meadows stands 6' 4" and weighs 210 lb. He attended Troy (Troy, AL) high school and was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 3rd round of the 1994 amateur draft.
