Brent Gilchrist (full name: Brent Gilchrist; no nicknames) played left wing from 1989 until 2003 for the Montreal Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota North Stars, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings and Nashville Predators. He played for the Canadies from 1989 - 1992, Oilers in 1993, North Stars in 1993, Stars from 1994 - 2002, Red Wings from 1998 - 2002 and Predators in 2003. Over 15 seasons, he played 792 games, scored 135 goals, and made 170 assists. Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on April 3, 1967, Gilchrist stands 5-11 and weighs 180 lbs. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 4th round (79th overall) of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft.
