Charles Brandon Inge is a professional baseball player who was born on May 19, 1977 in Lunchburg, Virginia. Drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 1998, he played as a shortstop and starting pitcher for the Virginia Commonwealth University after attending Brookiville High School. His first Major League Baseball game was on April 3, 2001 for the Detroit Tigers.
