 Bobby Hamilton is a professional football player in the National Football League. He started playing professionally in the 1994 season and is a defensive end. Hamilton was born in Columbia, Mississippi. Hamilton stayed in Mississippi all throughout. After graduating from high school, he decided to go the Southern Mississippi where he played college football. Hamilton went to East Marion High School and excelled not just in football but also in baseball, basketball and track and received letters for those different sports.

 

While playing football in South Miss, Hamilton was a letterman for four years and played as a starter for two seasons. Hamilton was also able to excel academically and as well. By the end of his college football career, he was able to record 18 sacks and 178 tackles.

 

As an undrafted free agent, Hamilton was signed by the Seattle Seahawks in 1994 but he was not able to appear in any game for the team. Rather, he signed with the Amsterdam Admirals in the succeeding season and with the New York Jets shortly. Hamilton stayed with the Jets until the end of the 1999 season and then signed with the New England Patriots in 2000. With the Patriots, Hamilton was able to win the Super Bowl XXXVI and the Super Bowl XXXVIII.
