Bobby Adams (full name: Robert Henry Adams; no nicknames) played third baseman and second baseman from 1946 until 1959 for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles and Chicago Cubs. He played for the Reds from 1946 - 1955, White Sox in 1955, Orioles in 1956 and Cubs from 1957 - 1959. Over 14 seasons, he played 1281 games, hit 37 home runs, drove in 591 runs, and stole 67 bases. Born on December 14, 1921 in Tuolumne, CA, Adams stood 5' 10" and weighed 160 lb. He attended Stockton (Stockton, CA) high school.
